What is next?

I’m watching a video “comparing linux phones: librem 5 and pinephone”. What caught my imagination is the idea of using a phone as a desktop. Sure this has been done by Samsung and the DEX project but that project is not usable in a meaningful way.

A phone is a phone and a desktop is a desktop. That’s just the way it is. I suppose if you lived or worked in a tiny house; docking your phone might be reasonable, however, when you are in and out or running around the office… laptops and tables are still king.

As I managed to get sidetracked checking to see if my Pixel 3a could drive an external USB-C monitor I’m, again, challenged by the product designers at Google.
