I tried to install OpenBSD 7.2 on my Lenovo Ideapad 3. The install was finished in under 10 minutes. Previous installs were just as successful. X-Windows installed and worked OOTB. The longest partt of the install was downloading the latest base packages and syspatch.
Two immediate problems:
If you’re a PC designer/manufacturer why on Earth would you install anything that required custom drivers. I would think it’s trivial to model a mobo that works everywhere.
