I was a contractor assigned to IBM in Boca Raton back in the 90’s just after the first release and just before they closed the site. The people that worke on OS/2 knew operating systems and hardware. They knew how to page and swap memory with the best of them. While Microsoft invaded Boca Raton and managed to get relaxed dress codes… MS did nearly complete the development, however, the effort was all IBM. Now that the winners got to write the history all the truth has been lost.
