Just 2 or 3 days ago I was thinking about AI and WTF is going on…. Someone talking about code editor features based on AI and I immediately started to think about PCI and the idea that my company’s intellectual propoerty was going to be scanned by the AI. Meaning my IP is now in the posession of an AI that did not sign any confidentiality agreement and in fact is now sharing IP that may not be otherwise secured by patent law.

And just minutes ago some talking head was recommending atuin as a command line history tool. They accomplish this by registering the user and then uploading the commands to their server. Which they say is end-to-end encrypted and syncronized among all your registered devices. To which I respond… are you fucking kidding me? How many times have you accidentially typed a password on the command line?
