The human environment adapt to the human faster than the human adapts to its environment

This might not make any sense at all but as I think about the brain eating amoeba, The flesh eating bacteria, human eating bacteria; I start to wonder whether or not these things are in our environment because we have changed our environment and they have adapted to survive. And their ability to adapt is faster than our own.

Without any real statistical evidence I wonder why we’re hearing more about the edge cases of our own mortality as our mortality rates drop.
