I was about to wrap my arms around webassembly… and then I realized that based on the application types I build if I downloaded too much information into the application cache in the client browser that I was giving blackhats an opportunity to copy the DOM and thus steal my data. So there are big issues here.

• bandwidth and latency to copy data from the source to the cache
• ram to store the cached data
• browser vulberability
• distributed nature of the compute nodes could overwhelm the server
